FIBC Antistatic Type-D
Model: 90x90x120cm
Type-D FIBC are particularly suitable for materials that can cause electrostatic charge during handling. Type D is used in environments where there may be a risk of explosions and high fire risk.

Type D Conductive Bags are specifically designed for materials that generate static electricity during handling, particularly in environments with explosion risks and high fire hazards. They are constructed from conductive yarns and a characteristic cobalt-blue material.

Type D conductive bags provide comprehensive electrostatic protection without the need for grounding. This ensures user protection against harmful electrostatic discharges and eliminates concerns about potential human error leading to unforeseen issues.

The properties of these bags differ somewhat from those of Type C bulk bags:

•The conductive yarns used in Type D bags safely dissipate static electricity through a secure, low-energy corona discharge, preventing sparks that could cause explosive ignition.

•The static-dissipative woven fabric is engineered to prevent incendiary sparks, brush discharges, and propagating brush discharges without requiring the FIBC to be connected to ground.

•Compared to Type C conductive bags, the use of Type D bags eliminates the associated risks of human error.

These bags are safe for use with combustible products and can even be used to handle products in combustible or flammable atmospheres.

Correct Usage of Type D Conductive Bags:

These FIBCs are designed for the safe transportation of flammable powders and can safely transport products even when flammable solvents or vapors are present within the bag. However, they must never be used if the bag's surface is covered or contaminated with conductive materials such as water or grease.
